First Snow of the Year on Walton's Mountain

Ah, why is it that I feel like a child on the first snow of the season and an old man by the last snow? After a Saturday afternoon of flurries, we had some snow showers late afternoon that produced a little over an inch of snow. It was enough to cover the leaves never raked and to decorate the bows of the magnolias and spruces. Here is a morning shot by the Rockfish Webcam...
