Day 1
Flew into Sea-Tac airport (quite the eventful flight) and went to lunch, salmon chowder YUM! then to Pike Market. I spotted Josh from TV Reality Show, “Deadliest Catch” at the Market and he was so nice and let me get a photo with him.

Day 2
Drove south from Tacoma and met up with Leia (known her for years thru this site but had never met in person). We photo’d for hours at Northwest Trek – an animal refuge. Light was really tough to shoot in but we both enjoyed ourselves. I detoured a bit before & after and got my shots of Mt. Rainier that I didn’t get last year. Attended the bf’s work Christmas party – real nice people and some good food.

Day 3
Left Tacoma and headed north to where I did not know until we drove for two hours. The bf surprised me with a visit to a net friends of his. They took us to the ferry and we went across Puget Sound to Friday Harbor after first stopping by Roche Harbor and Lime Kiln State Park where I got to see the lighthouse. A big fat lunch along the shore and then back to Seattle for the night.

Day 4
Flew home, it only took 11 hours if you include the time change, lol. Travel Tip: for a long flight, shell out the $$$ for Direct TV viewing on your flight. Makes the time go by really fast!

Great area to visit, I’m already planning for next year.

Hi Wanda. Merry Christmas. I loved your shots and and the story's behind them. What an excellent trip/trips. Sometimes I just lurk and dont post.
