I'm late getting on today as i had another ride in the big white truck with the flashing lights. i had a call of nature about 2am and started to feel strange. I woke the Queen and told her something was amiss. She immediately dialed 911 and while talking to the operator I started a siezure. My speech slurred and the right side of my face became numb and I debveloped a pain in my chest. By the time the paramedics got me to the hospital it was all over but they ER doctor kept me in overnight, did some bloodwork and ran an EKG to compare with prvious ones.
I guess the EKG showwd no changes and I was released this morning by my family doctor who said it could have been nerve damaged caused my arthritic spine. All is good today as I return to my Dorthy Domestic duties while the Queen works. I'm still a walking pile of human junk parts but there seems to be no side effects.
Abbey, my ever loyal dog, could not be moved from the side of the bed by either the Queen or my grandaughter.
I told the paramedics that she wouldn't move unless I told her to, she was my dog. I then said "Abbey go and pointed to the other room" so that the paramedics could do their job. Abbey imediately moved but stayed by the doorway. The paramedic said " She sure is your dog."

That Abbey sure is a good dog, isn't she?
Glad you have Abbey, she sure is one special little dog, so protective of her daddy...
Well dear one, hope you have a great evening and an uneventful night. I will check in with you tomorrow....Thinking of you all on the cold cold prairies from cold cold SW Ontario.
I wondered this morning when there was no update on here. When my last dog, Nelson, left me I decided I'd out lived too many friends but tonight I've got my daughter's big mutt, Jupiter - she has gone skiing.
Jupe and I have a relationship but he is bonded to my daughter and her husband.
What I'm working up to is: Be well soon.
