Today will see periods of snow ending this morning then cloudy and a high of -6C(21F).
Tonight will start partly cloudy then becoming cloudy overnight. The overnight low will be -11C(12F).
------------------------------------------------- --
It looks like were paying for our mild snow-less winter now. It snowed again last night and there's more snow in the forecast for the next couple of days.
To top off the snowy predictions I blew a belt in my blower yesterday while clearing the driveway. I had blown the snow from between the 2 houses out onto the driveway so that I could blow it onto the lawns, instead of beside one of the houses not wanting to cause water damage when spring arrives. I had just finished between the houses when a belt broke. I then ha to move the darn white stuff by hand. :) The car was sitting in the driveway but without a license I couldn't get a new belt. too top it off when I checked the manual it's a 2 man job as the engine unit has to be separated from the blower to change the belt., not a pleasant thing to do in an unheated work area. I've given the SIL a call to give me a hand and maybe we can load it into the back of his truck and take it too his shop for repairs when he's off work. It's funny how things break down when you need them the most. I'm not used to moving snow by hand and with a 50+ foot long driveway it's a real chore for a 60+ year old guy who's not used to the heavy exercise as my daily walks with Abbey is the only exercise I get.

Arrrgh, things made that are hard to service yourself.

I vote with everyone else, hire someone to move your snow. If I can bite the bullet and hire someone to help me with yard work (groan, grumble) snow is heavier than dirt, get some help.

Good morning Tony...Don't you dare go out and shovel that snow, not with your heart condition and comobilities. Let someone return the favor you did for them when you cleaned their driveway. You are not conditioned to do that kind of work and it will bring on another MI. Let one of the kids come over to do it for you. Don't take the chance.

Cooler here today too with overcast skies and the occasional bout of sunshine. Looking forward to later in the week when we go back up to the 50s again.

Stay safe Tony and family..hae a good day.

Careful with that shoveling! (There! I got the gentle nag in before Alley showed up! Hi, Alley!)

We're beautiful today and for the next few, so no need for a blower here, except to help clean up all the leaves that are falling off the live oaks as the new ones begin to come on. I saw a redbud blooming yesterday, and some wisteria. Spring is on the move. I'll send it north!
