What a surprize I got last night. A long lost friend called last night. I haven't heard from him in over 35 years. he moved to British Columbia and we lost track of each other. At one time the Queen and I visited him and his wife on a weekly basis and on most nights drank too much. We chatted about some of the stupid things we had done .
We had bought a small home made 10 foot plywood boat with a 3Hp motor. One time after a way too many cool ones the 2 of us and a friend decided to go fishing on a small river close to Portage. The 3rd guy stood up to relieve himself and capsized the little boat. Luckily we made it to shore safely and salvaged the boat. It's a wonder I survived those hard drinking years. The memories are something I haven't shared with my daughters. It's no wonder the Queen put her foot down and told me to grow up once the family started to arrive.

Anyway dear one, have a grand day. Going to be a few really hot days here so I am laying low other than visit the doc tomorrow to chat about meds.
If I saw people doing some of the things I did back then I'd call the police. Maybe I should just turn myself in now for past crimes. We survived by good fortune, not by good judgement.
It's a different world now.
ycd is right when he says we've survived this far through good fortune, or Grace! Unless you're Mush, who never did anything, lol!
