Too Many Ladies and Stupid People

I started on my picture frame yesterday and realized I have to many ladies in my life. The 5 daughters and the Queen just won't fit into the 20 inch wide frame I have if I leave them in the 5x7 format that the photos are in. I'll have to think of a new idea to display them while I get back to the mini grandfather clock project.
Yesterday's headline on Portage Online .com was a photo of a man walking out of The Source(Radio Shack in the US) with a computer tower tucked under his coat. The photo was from a surveillance camera. A person should know better than to try and steal from a store that sells surveillance equipment. They live amongst us and even have the right to vote.

Cooler temps have finally reached us and boy does it feel good. Too bad its not going to last long but it is a taste of what is to be soon enough.

Did you get the garage door fixed?
Sorry that I haven't been able to post much in the past month, as my hubby had another mild stroke in July, diagnosed by an MRI just after his ER visit, contracted pneumonia in mid-August, per chest xray, temp and cough and had a TIA transischemic attack related to the new stroke, on Aug. 29th which sent him yet again to our local ER and admitted overnight for another MRI and more tests. Thankfully, an adjustment in his medications and plenty of rest seem to be doing the trick, for now, and he seems healthier and stronger. Fingers crossed that he'll make continued progress without another setback, although his speech impairment was impacted. He's been diligent about working on that and his right hand exercises on a daily basis and it's making a positive difference.
Nevertheless, hope you, too, are doing well up in La Prairieland, as well as your family, and that you're able to celebrate your birthday in grand style! Wishing you all the best and hope to rejoin everyone on WU sometime again in the near future once I catch up some needed rest myself. LOL!
