I have been a huge supporter of the Weather Underground for a number of years. The new experimental Best Forecast system is truly mind boggling, as I have told many over the years that the NWS forecasts are vastly superior to those of EVERYbody elses forecasts.
Now, there is a new sheriff in town, and it is right here!
I urge everybody to opt in to contribute to this new database/modeling system!
I always enjoy the daily blogs by Jeff. They always seem so moderate, scientific, to the point, and devoid of any knee-jerk rhetoric. Reminds me of Sgt. Friday & "just the facts, ma'am". Gotta luv it!
My other passion is photography and I am gonna enter the National Geographic/Energizer photo contest. I must say, after viewing the last photo on Jeff's blog today, it seems sorta pointless. That is ONE incredible photo memory!!
