7/21/2010: Well, I apparently don't have as much free time as I thought. I'm not sure what I do with my time... oh wait, taking care of a house, husband, dog, and 3 year old is actually quite a bit of work!
Anyway, we now have a name for baby #2 -- Matthew Ryan. I've been feeling okay these days, but man do my feet hurt. Baby Matthew's room is almost ready (pics later). Can't believe we only have about 8-9 weeks left. Then I'm really going to be busy.
Hope this hurricane season doesn't cause too many problems out there. I'll be around.
6/26/2010: This is a teaser blog. For some reason, a few of my last blog posts were deleted. So, the last one showing is from summer 2009. Weird. Lots has happened since then.
For those who know... an update of sorts: I recovered fully from my miscarriage last November. It was not a fun experiece physically or emotionally. But, I survived.
The good news - Baby #2 is due September 21, 2010. This pregnancy had been adventurous so far. I was sick all day, every day for the first 18 weeks. Since that ended, I have no complaints. Oh, and we are expecting another boy. At least that's what they told us....
More later. I'm sure I'll get some "free time" eventually.

I remember your miscarriage from last fall; So sad; it is very hard situation.
and Congratulations on the new baby coming in the heart of Hurricane Season.
sure hope storms stay out of the GOM during September, having a newborn with a hurricane at your door step is not fun, I've done it back in 1979 with Hurricane David.
So happy to see you peek back in here today.
Take care,

Hey gamma! It's been a long time. Thanks for the congrats. Since we live a little further inland, I don't think we have to worry too much about hurricanes here. At least not the evacuating part. I still stock up and have my kit ready, just in case. :)
Thanks conchygirl! It's good to be back.

Just saw your update about the main blog. That is why many of us do not post there anymore.. sometimes we do lurk and we know which ones to actually listen to because they know something.... and I still go to Bob's new weather blog from time to time.
but when a real serious situation comes... some of us "old timers" just put about 1/3 of those on Dr Master's blog on "ignore" and proceed to practically take back the blog... if enough of us put them on ignore and do not acknowledge them, they will go away for a few weeks or until we leave...
So if something serious comes out come back ... we will be there..... until then we let it be a "kiddy land" with a lot of little boys with nothing else to do this summer playing "being a met"..
I've already started my "ignore" list from that blog and it will grow and grow...
Enjoy your day.

SM- only go to read Doc's header when something is headed to the GOM - dont go beyond that. Its troll and virus infected -
It hasn't always been easy on the blogs either trolls come and go - learn to ignore, everyone has opinions and ....... You learn to realize why you're here and carry on.
Be safe.

I've always liked the action in main blog... and I've been able to deal with all the crap. It's just getting to be too much. Maybe I'm over-reacting a bit... pregnancy hormones and all? Who knows. I'm sure I'll get over it in a few days and head back into the chaos. But maybe I won't be so nice anymore. :)

Maybe I'm crazy... but I like the insanity that goes on to a certain extent. I just have to know when to take a break! I need to check in with some of the other blogs that I haven't been to in awhile. Thanks for the info!
