... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 10 PM this evening
to 6 am EST Wednesday...

* precipitation type... snow

* accumulations... snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches... with
locally higher amounts possible.

* Timing... precipitation will begin this evening initially as a
rain and snow mix. The precipitation will transition to all
snow by midnight and last through Tuesday night... with periods
of heavy snow during this time.

* Impacts... roads will become snow covered... resulting in
hazardous travel conditions.

* Winds... north 5 to 10 mph.

* Temperatures... in the lower 30s.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow
are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an
