... Wind chill warning remains in effect from 4 am Saturday to
1 PM EST Sunday...

* locations... southern Tug Hill... Upper Mohawk valley to the
western Catskills of New York.

* Hazard types... dangerously low wind chills and extreme cold.

* Timing... beginning early Saturday morning... coldest Saturday
night into Sunday morning.

* Impacts... potential frostbite and hypothermia. The extreme
cold may also lead to potential frozen pipes.

* Wind chill readings... 15 to 35 below zero Saturday... then 25 to
45 below zero Saturday night into Sunday morning. Lowest wind
chills will be over the higher terrain.

* Winds... becoming northwest 20 to 25 mph with gusts to 45 mph
Saturday... decreasing late Saturday night into Sunday.

* Temperatures... dropping below zero Saturday morning... and
continuing to fall through Saturday night to lows of 15 to 25
below zero Sunday morning... coldest at higher elevations.

A wind chill warning means the combination of very cold air and
strong winds will create dangerously low wind chill values. This
will result in frost bite and lead to hypothermia or death if
