with very heavy rainfall beginning to shift south of the warned
area.

Radar estimates up to 3 inches of rain has fallen in some areas.
Small streams and creeks will continue to rise through 900 PM. Water
that spread out of ditches and onto roadways will require some time
to recede.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Elizabethtown... Ammon... Ruskin... White Oak... Jerome... Duart...
Tobermory... Bladen Community College... White Lake... Dublin... Tar
Heel and Bladen County hospital.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or has been reported.
Flooding may persist well after the rainfall comes to an end. People
in or near locations susceptible to flooding should take necessary
precautions immediately.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding. If flooding is observed act quickly. Move up to
higher ground to escape flood waters. Do not stay in areas subject to
flooding when water begins rising.

Please report flooding to the National Weather Service in Wilmington
at 800 - 697 - 3901 when you can do so safely.
