7 PM Tuesday to noon EST Wednesday.

* Locations... Buncombe and southern Jackson counties

* hazards... areas of snow and blowing snow through tonight.

Tuesday night.

* Timing... snow showers will continue through tonight. Wind
chill values will fall below -5 degrees Tuesday evening across
the high elevations... and continue through Wednesday morning.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of around an inch in the
valleys... but up to 3 inches in higher elevations.

Snow accumulation and strong gusty winds could result in a few
downed trees. Wind chill values of less than -5 degrees will
make it dangerous to be outside across the high elevations
Tuesday night.

* Temperatures... falling into the teens to near 20 tonight.
