Through 900 am...strong thunderstorms will move from the Atlantic waters south of the island chain near Big Pine Key to Rock Harbor northward into Florida Bay. Wind gusts to 35 mph...poor visibilities in very heavy rain...and occasional lightning can be expected with these storms. Periods of light to moderate rain will continue across the remainder of all the Florida Keys. Motorists should use caution due to standing water on some roadways...especially across the Lower Keys.

* Urban Flood Advisory for minor flooding of poor drainage areas in... Lower Keys in Monroe County in Florida... this includes the city of Key West...
* until 930 am EST
* at 705 am EST National Weather Service radar indicated only light to moderate rain was falling over the Lower Keys. However heavy rainfall totals of 3 to 7 inches across the Lower Keys have resulted in street flooding in many poor drainage areas. This flooding will be slow to subside... and the Flood Advisory has been extended.
