The Flood Warning continues for
the Pearl River near Columbia
* until further notice.
* At 6:15 PM Monday the stage was 19.2 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will remain near 19.2 feet.
* Impact... at 18.0 feet... low areas along the river are inundated.
* Impact... at 17.0 feet... low areas near the river begin to flood.
Water covers old Highway 35 on the west side of the river.
* Impact... at 15.0 feet... Camp Lane Road south of Columbia on the east
side of the river begins to flood.

* winds... 20 to 30 mph with gusts around 40 mph

* impacts... these winds can knock down rotten trees and affect
travel in high profile vehicles

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 20 to 30 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high profile
vehicles. Use extra caution when driving.

Wind gusts around 40 mph can occasionally bring down large limbs and
