Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 4:01 AM EST Feb. 14, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from noon today to 10 am EST
Monday...

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow and freezing drizzle... which is in
effect from noon today to 10 am EST Monday.

* Timing... snow will develop this afternoon and quickly move
across the area... tapering off in the evening. Lingering light
snow or freezing drizzle will be possible overnight into Monday
morning.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 2 to 3 inches is
expected... with a trace of ice possible.

* Impacts... travel difficulties are expected due to reduced
visibilities and snow accumulations. Any ice accumulations will
cause slick roads as well.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Remember... a Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of
snow or freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties. Be
prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use
caution while driving. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio or your
favorite source of information for the latest updates. Additional
details can also be found at www.Weather.Gov/iln as well as on our
facebook and twitter pages.
