Statement as of 11:59 AM MST on February 27, 2015

... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 4 PM MST Sunday...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow remains in effect until 4 PM
MST Sunday.

* Snow accumulations... additional accumulations of 3 to 6 inches
through late today. Tonight through Sunday an additional 10 to
30 inches is expected above 8500 feet... with 4 to 10 inches
below 8000 feet. Heavier snow amounts this weekend will favor
west and southwest facing slopes above 8500 feet.

* Timing... while snow has currently decreased in coverage and
intensity... additional batches of new snow are expected to
increase over the area this evening and overnight. Periods of
heavy snow will then continue through Sunday.

* Winds... significant winds are not expected.

* Snow levels... temperatures will be cold enough for snow at all
locations until Saturday afternoon through Sunday when the
snow level will lift to around 8000 feet.

* Local impacts... hazardous travel conditions due to snow packed
and icy roadways are expected along with reduced visibilities
in locally heavy snow. Road closures will be possible.
