Special Statement
Issued: 2:55 PM CST Feb. 9, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Slick spots will be possible on some area roadways into the
evening hours...

Continuing scattered light snow showers or flurries... mainly along
and east of the Mississippi River... will leave just enough
moisture on roadtop surfaces that freezing temperatures will turn
into icy slick spots on untreated roadways. Be aware of this
possibility as we head into the evening and the commuting hours.
Drive slowly and take it easy braking and turning just in case
there is a slick spot you cannot necessarily see.
