Shady Lake (behind the dam) is a very secluded spot in the Ouachita National Forest. It becomes the Saline Creek again past this dam, and eventually the Saline River (one of at least two with this name in Arkansas).

Thanks for the picture. Digital has indeed changed photography. Without it, we would not be as able to share our efforts.

Very nice! We have a Saline River in Michigan too. It's a tributary to the Raisin River, which flows into Lake Erie. I haven't tasted it!

Excellent image! I love to look up at waterfalls, and the POV from these boulders is terrific. Kudos, and congratulations on the AC!

About ArkyMark
ArkyMark Into Photography for over 30 years, I worked professionally as a studio/portrait photographer for a long time before getting away from it and into programming/web design. The whole world of photography underwent a paradigm-shift while I was away, but now I'm back with a Nikon DSLR and loving every shot of it!
