For quite a while now, the babies have been so big that Mama owl stands guard from either the evergreen next to the one with the nest or in an ash tree on the other side of the sidewalk. The owlets have started wandering around their tree branches now and today one of the crossed over to the next tree and is sitting just under the Mama. He's starting to get his ears, as you can see.:-)
