When I got to Dillon Reservoir, there it was..the first real snow of the year. There have been dustings, but this is the real deal. It was sprinkling again, but I got out and took a couple shots anyway. I'd be home to dry clothes in an hour or so. I didn't get very wet, anyway. I hope the mountains get lots of snow this year, for many reasons!

Thanks, Wilma! I hope so, too, and it would
be nice for the ski and tourist industry, as well.
But mostly, we really need to replenish the reservoirs!

Yes!!!!! Very nice photo, but what I'm feeling is a mixture of relief and hope for lots and lots more snow! Fill those reservoirs, make that snowpack stand up and take notice, put out all the fires! Two enthusiastic thumbs up! Julie in Ohio

Beautiful! Glad to see it start. What we need now is the 200% snowpack that we got in the winter of 2010-2011!
