This is the upper falls as viewed on the trail just east of the Benson Bridge. Multnomah Falls are 620 feet, with the upper cascade 542 feet. The 400 ton boulder seen at the bottom, fell 225 feet from the face back in 1995 splashing water and gravel onto a wedding party on the Benson Bridge.

It looks like wind might be blowing the falls off to the right.

Great Series! These falls are hard to shoot! Maybe the boulder falling was a sign...wonder if they are still married?:)

I agree about hard to shoot, the sun and shade made it difficult, as well as the height. I either needed to shoot in portrait mode, or two landscapes that I stitched together. Either way, most monitors are biased against photos that are significantly taller than they are wider.
