Well, actually, here in "America", this cliff would probably be fenced off, with railings/fence/barbed-wire 30' from the edge, about 45 signs posted every 6' warning people not to get too close to the edge, and a team of lowyers in a booth ready to take on a personal-injury case if anyone would fall off or otherwise do something retarded.
Kinda sad.
