Tonight mesoscale convective system rolled over our country. At peak rate it produced over 400 lightning strikes per minute. It was beautiful show!

Excellent shot. I've tried to capture lightning both manually and automatic 10 second intervals. Even then, capturing elusive bolts is difficult.

For me capturing these bolts was easy because there were couple of them every second (!). It was crazy night!
Unfortunately I'm not a pilot. I can't afford license, but when I could, I would be (I hope so).
