We desperately needed rain, and we got it! There was 3.65 in the rain gauge this morning, and the rivers were running full as they approached the coast.

Thanks, Cynthia. The Kennebunk River is usually a very shallow, trickling river that only runs a distance of about 10 miles, emptying Kennebunk Pond into the ocean. After storms, however, it is quite boisterous!
