Several fires are raging in the area due to thunderstorms. This one in Number 2 Canyon in Wenatchee. I stopped at an apple orchard to take this, and someone actually yelled at me out his car window for taking it.

Great pic of a not so pleasant happening ... so did the passerby think that you had something to do with fire? Don't worry about other people's ignorance.

We here in Texas have just finished marking a year's anniversary since our horrible fires. When I see other fire pics, I feel such sorrow for the people losing everything. I hope they get things under control soon. Congrats on the AC.

Thank you very much for commenting. I just got back home to Wenatchee after spending several days in Oregon breathing wonderful, clean air. It is still horrible and rated as hazardous with people buying and wearing masks and staying indoors. Some are being evacuated and last I heard, this smoke is supposed to be around for at least another week.

About RadioDJgirl
RadioDJgirl My name is Tresa, thank you for stopping by to look at and comment on my photos! I'm a native of California, I spent 5 years in Ohio, and 1 year in Iowa before moving to Wenatchee Washington. I am a radio personality, a wife (newlywed), mother, and a Christian. This site is so addicting and fun! I enjoy sharing my surroundings with you and checking out your photos as well. I love weather/landscape photography, but my real passion is portrait photography, because I like to make people happy when they see how good they can look in a photo. Currently working in radio again and can be heard online by clicking the "listen live" button as well as locally on the radio at kkrv.com if you'd like to give it a listen (UPDATE: back on the "beach" as we radio people call it when we're unemployed. Who knows what is next. More college? A new career?
