We wanted to get an early start to beat the high temps predicted for yesterday. The fates had other ideas. Thank you good Samaritans for your help in getting the tire changed and getting us back on our way.

LOL - it was a shock to see this! Glad it wasn't my tire, but knowing I was riding in the vehicle was scary enough. Glad it gave up the ghost where it did - there were some very narrow drop offs on this 9 mile dirt road to get to the trail head.
