She flew south down to North Melbourne then turned around & flew South to north along the Space Coast..giving us a low fly-bye at KSC.

EXCELLENT SERIES SKYE!! YOU ARE AWESOME TO SHARE WITH US!! This is amazing! I just can't imagine how they piggy-back like that! Boggles my mind! I have not heard anything,and assume they had a good flight to D.C.,,where in the world do they land that monster there??? and then transport it to the Smithsonian?? That's why I uploaded so many!

BEME~ Discovery made it safely to DC before lunch yesterday. Landed at Dulles airport. I heard like 10 semis were sent from KSC ahead of the flight with stuff for the final clean-up & a metal structure to assemble in DC to get it off the plane.

It's amazing what we can do when we shoot for the stars!
