We have a palm tree in our back yard in
Southern Oregon. Snow, hail, rain, sleet,
sunshine..you name it. It survives.

It's always a little difficult to think
about Winter in June, but you have clearly
shown us how it is in the Southern hemisphere.

Cabbage tree palms tī kōuka in Maori (Cordyline australis)are a distinctive native New Zealand plant and as such, survive pretty much any weather conditions quite well.
