My wife and I were driving home this evening and noticed the full moon right away, as the sky was clear here in the boonies of east Georgia. We had an extra bonus of some awesome heat-lightening just north of where the moon appeared. You obviously have an excellent camera. I don't know that any we have could have done it justice.

I've been to Sugar Land a few times. Nice place!

Great shot and perfect lens for the job. I wish there was an 800mm f2.8 VR II lens so it could be pulled in double. But your capture is so far the best I have seen and looks incredible.

When I looked out the window I fell in love again...the moon is so beautiful, look forward to seeing the cycles of it every month. I knew my camera would not catch the beauty...I knew that someone on WU would catch the beauty, you did, thank you!!!
