Meet Enya the only foal ever born at Dusty Trails Horse Rescue. Mom, Willow, was rescued two weeks ago and was really too thin to have a baby. However, after weeks of proper feeding and vet care she delivered a healthy baby girl.

Beautiful AC, Leslie. I hope this begins a new life for Willow, and that her bad memories of human mistreatment will fade.

Keep us posted on this sweet Mom and Baby! They
really did perform a miracle! Give Willow an
apple for me...or a carrot...her choice.
Nice, heartwarming series, Leslie!

POOR mama!!! She's still pathetically thin, the poor dear. I do hope by now she's well on the road to recovery and has a loving home! If I wasn't so far away I'd sure take her---I have 20 acres of grass that grows 10 feet high and a good warm barn!

Thank you for inquiring about these two beauties. They are doing well and Enya has grown so much. They have filled out and are happy, healthy, and beautiful!

dixiedaughter Hello, my name is Leslie. I borrowed my handle from my Tennessee Walking horse, Dixie's Daughter. I am a retired respiratory therapist and home care director. My interests include photography, genealogy, historical societies, reenacting (Revolutionary War, WBTS) horse rescue, and paranormal investigating. I am also a big believer in karma and try to live my life accordingly. My husband (AUphoto) and I have two houses, one is a country house on a farm and the other is on the outskirts of Montgomery on Lake Cameron. I enjoy this site very much and love traveling around the World with you each day to amazing places. I appreciate you looking at my photographs and I appreciate you posting yours.
