Once again the horse rescue has taken in orphans of another kind. These babies don't know it but they need to be running toward help instead of away from it. Too cute and what a delight to have babies this time of year.

Quoting dixiedaughter:
PS: My neck has really been giving me fits so forgive me for not typing a lot on comments. I just can't sit in front of the computer much right now!

What a great shot Leslie! Suggestion: Put ducktape and put your keyboard verticaly. (Hahaha!) Hope you will get right soon! One thing that also stun me on your shot is your green grass! On August 5th here, it was YELLOW, EVERYWHERE!!! 3 inches of rain in whole July month, on August 5th though, we got 2 thunderstorms that put an X on the Drought episode that lasted since July 1st! Congratulations on your new AC, Leslie! :)

Thank you all so much and Maxx, we have tons of green right now. Just finished cutting the hay field (well Durward did) and should get one more cutting this season. I will try that duct tape idea, who knows, I have tried everything else :)

About dixiedaughter
dixiedaughter Hello, my name is Leslie. I borrowed my handle from my Tennessee Walking horse, Dixie's Daughter. I am a retired respiratory therapist and home care director. My interests include photography, genealogy, historical societies, reenacting (Revolutionary War, WBTS) horse rescue, and paranormal investigating. I am also a big believer in karma and try to live my life accordingly. My husband (AUphoto) and I have two houses, one is a country house on a farm and the other is on the outskirts of Montgomery on Lake Cameron. I enjoy this site very much and love traveling around the World with you each day to amazing places. I appreciate you looking at my photographs and I appreciate you posting yours. Answer to most common question is I only shoot one lens for everything: Canon 18-200 mm. ©Leslie Kirk, 2013 with Southern Comfort Photography, ALL RIGHTS RESERVED, Pike Road, Alabama
