Severe weather made a stop over our area this afternoon . We need the rain but didn't need the wall of dust that led it in .

Isn't that what usually happens when you are at the far end of a quarter section on a tractor-get covered with dirt and then some rain to become a human mudball!

Great capture at first I was not sure what exactly I was going to be seeing. The stirring of the dust along with the twisting grey above looks enough to put the beat in beat feet. Good work.

Hmmm ... this would likely become "the road less traveled" with such weather imminent! Great photo, Tim! Julie in Ohio

About docshovel39
docshovel39 Hello , my name is Tim . I live in the small farming community of Ropesville , Texas with my wife and photo partner Sherry . I got involved with photography because of my older brother Steve - a fantastic photographer who lives outside of Seattle , WA . My favorite work , apart from his , is a terrific book entitled " Ghosts in the Wilderness " by Tony and Eva Worobiec . It captures the remains of small , abandoned rural communities across the Midwest , much of it shot in black and white . I also have become a fan of photographer Jim McGuire . His black and white shots ( nashvilleportraits.com) are amazing . Thank you for your comments and have a GREAT day !
