Saw that the Sun Spot was erupting, so just dashed out with my filter and took a shot at it. A little after 10 AM MDT so would be 1600 UTC Too small to see any CMEs or any flares on my photo. Nothing like our Friend Ralfo's with great equipment, but this is what I came up with. Kinda my first attempt for the Sun Spots. Actually I took one yesterday also, and looks just about identical.

Great! Thank you, Gil!
Cynthia, The filter I used is a Welder's Glass. Just got it a couple days ago. Had been looking for one, but every place was out of them, for the rush they had a short while back for the Venus/Sun Encounter. At that time, I borrowed a neighbor's Welding Goggles.
I was trying to find a smaller one. The one I got was about a 4"X5" glass, and I just hold it in front and against the Lens. Rather inconvenient. Also my lens will not Auto-Focus for that arrangement, so have to battle the manual focusing which is not easily done for such thing. For the Sun Eclipse a while back, I was really trying to find a solar filter in Santa Fe, and they were all sold out account of the Solar eclipse coming up then.
Thank you very much Approvers for the Blue on my Sun Spots. Much appreciated.
Congratulations on a marvelous AC!!
