The spring crocuses are just emerging along the pathways and in the open areas. Pulsatilla patens ssp. multifida. Little kids in Interior Alaska will gather handfuls of these lovelies and present them to their mothers next Sunday, for Mothers' Day. I pressed one in a card to send to my mother.

What a gorgeous blue, with some purple in there too. Is this the first of many wildflowers to come? Hope so. Wonderful shot. Congratulations on your new AC.
