Thank you very much for stopping by Genie, Bumpui, Kim, James, Susan, Debra, Wanda, Maria, Mary, WeatherWise and Julia!

Genie, it is just as Susan, these Pacific Giants do get very very tall! I haven't measured, but they are WELL over my head, perhaps 7 feet tall. Must be the (relatively) cool temps and the looooooooong daylight hours.

Awsome! Are they really as tall as they look? I've never seen any that tall. But I don't live in Alaska.

I've lived in Alaska since 1969. I love this wild land. The extremes of the far north shape and affect every living thing. Extremes of weather, elevation, daylight hours, isolation, flora and fauna, nothing in Nature is insignificant.I have a Davis Vantage Pro weather station, uploading to Wunderground, (Turks on the Tundra) the National Weather Service, the Citizen Weather Observation Program and MADIS (Meteorological Assimilation Data Ingest System).
