Jan 30, 2012. My garden. The broccoli is making heads. Had to pull one this morning and it was so good, Fresh, organic & raw. They are also great steamed.

I love and eat broccoli just about every day..it will be a long time before I can see nice looking broccoli like this in my garden in Northern NY...

Gary and bean, thank you both so much for the comments... Actually the stem I cut this morning... I ate over half of it and hubby ate the rest.. just washed and raw..

it was so good!!!

I grow these in a raised bed in organic compost without any fertlizers or chemicals...
they are so good tasting, much better than store bought.
But I can only grow them in winter months down here.. our nights are too hot the rest of the year..
