The date on the picture is wrong. I took it this evening 8/22/2005. We will not be seeing the sun for the next couple of days. I am located in Gueydan about 40 miles from the Gulf and 50 miles east of from Lake Charles. We are looking at strong winds and lots of rain. We have our vehicles packed and are watching the weather very close. If the storm looks like it will be going to make a direct hit on Vermilion parish(county)we will be heading north tomorrow morning. Wherever this storm hits it will be devastating. I expect to be out of electricity for at least a few weeks if not longer. When I do get back to where I can post pics I will post them. Unfortunately, I am sure I will have many devastating pictures. I was just in New Orleans 3 weeks ago helping rescue people and seen the destruction. Now we made need rescuing.
