You can plug in 70.26N -150.24W to see our place on google earth. Just a few miles from the Arctic Ocean in northern Alaska
Living in Minnesota, we get to see auroras too.
But solar storms have been quiet the last year and we have not seen any in a long while. I see that some solar activity is heating up, so maybe we will see some auroras here too. But ours are usually just white, sometimes with a hint of pink or blue. Never any as beautiful as this!!
This photo is my favorite, too.
