taken early this morning just as the frost was melting on the grass and the lowly, sometimes pesty, dandelion blossoms..some companies make lots of money selling weed killers/fertilizers to kill this Eurasian wildflower yes, it's an introduced wildflower to this country)..I think they're fascinating in all their stages of life..and the bees/other insects love them! ~~These weeds simply need to be seen from a different perspective; these are the dandelions that your children will play with, that they will think are beautiful wildflowers, and that ultimately, seen with the right attitude, will add deep meaning and beauty to your life in ways you may have never expected.~~

About suzi46
suzi46 Living in the mountains of Western Maine on a 15 acre 'gentleman's farm', in a hand hewn log home, has been a wonderful experience these past 6 1/2 years. The photo ops are virtually unlimited what with the surrounding working farms, dozens of lakes, ponds, and brooks, and thousands of acres of forest. Not to mention our own pond and brooks as well as extensive flower gardens, fruit bushes, vines, and trees. The views of Mt Washington and the Presidentials of NH only add to the drama! Not a bad place to be retired..and I am so glad I can share all of this with the wonderful folks on this great site..it has been a wonderful journey and learning experience thus far..and it's only getting better!
