Thank you all very much. It was difficult to get a good shot because the pink is so light in the bright sun. This is pretty close to how they look to the eye.

You have done a fine job of presenting these little beauties as well!! I know what you mean...I usually turn up the shutter speed 600 or more? Maybe you can tell from Exif on some of mine ,ISO:100 ,,I have a tendency to forget, and get really blown-out whites, then remember to get to about a 22 f-stop simile...also turn the EV - 07-1.3. I experiment some...I've tried the 'vivid' setting, but sometimes that washes out as well...Anyway,I don't see anything wrong wtih these! I'm jealous! ;)

Thanks Mindi! The photo a few days ago was washed out but I did extra work on this one to bring the color back on the flowers.

About tamcat
tamcat My name is Kevin N. Weinhold, and somehow I ended up posting photos on an account with my wife's nickname (sorry for any confusion!). I used to think that photos were too two-dimensional, not really capturing the real person or scene, but now I understand why: without God we are all two-dimensional, but there is a much richer world behind those photos. I hope you find something in my photos beyond my view of God's creation; I'm looking forward to seeing your photos, too!
