On our way from Reedsport to Eugene, the helicopter flew over us with a huge bag of water near Scottsburg, ready to drop it on this large forest fire burning on the other side of the river from our roadway. I have never seen a forest fire before or a water-drop helicopter so we had to stop and snap some images to share here.
