Both toads and frogs like to take advantage of rainy nights to travel abroad. Who knows, they may find a new place that suits them better than the old one. Or why do I have both frogs and toads in my little pond now when I had no frogs and fewer toads before putting the pond in? I've seen frogs and toads during a rain on the roadways so thick that you couldn't avoid running over them.
