Ylee and Sharon, my garden did suffer and the clean up will not be fun. The good new is that as far as I know there were no major injuries nor deaths. There were cars that became submerged in the rushing flash floods but, in my opinion, it could have been prevented if people had not been so foolish.

Thank you for the comments. It was not a pleasant day and night due to the weather but the area made it through the storms ok.

There were fires due to lightening, two small tornadoes one in MD and one in VA (damage to buildings but no casualties), a few submerged cars, some teenagers had to be rescued when they got caught in a flash flood,....

My flowers will recover and this makes me happy.
