Turned a passion for interesting weather phenomena into a career, thus far. I have a BS in Atmospheric Science from Texas A&M University. I currently work a private meteorological data and modeling group for sake of some government, some private contracts. I operationally administer COAMPS, the Navy's ocean/atmosphere model, ADCIRC in hurricane storm surge applications, a global version of MM5, and a number of different data collection and redistribution applications, including over 500 NDBC observations, NOAA's wavewatch wave forecasting model, and MODIS SST and chlorophyll near realtime data.
