the greatest solar eclipse in this century! in Taiwan, we got partial eclipse! mine was 78% coverage! wonderful! i started to watch it at 8:00 am and ended at 11:10 am!

I am capable of speaking Chinese and English (though I have better Chinese). I live in Taichung, Taiwan. I am interested about science, like nature; that's why I like taking photos of the nature including plants, animals, and phenomena. |

I have no pics. My friend had been using a tripod to take photos of a projection on to a sheet of paper (pointless, really) and when the thing went total and we could view it safely, he picked the camera up and started snapping shots - without removing the close-up lens.

I think totality lasted around a few minutes & was quite surreal.
If i remember rightly there is a total eclipse of the Sun next year over Easter Island, now that would be really something to see!!
