After receiving an internet aurora alert yesterday, we headed out at 1:30 AM to a nearby dark beach with a north view.

Wowser! These are beautiful. We don't have much hope of seeing them down in NM, like I used to in Montana. Have seen a tiny bit of reddish glowing a couple times here in Northern NM, but that's all. I see your alerts for your area all the time, & can only envy you.l
