I've been taking pictures since I was 14 years old(now 65). First used a Kodak Brownie 620 roll film camera. Bought a darkroom kit, covered my mother's kitchen windows up at night and made contact prints. Later got a Kodak Pony 35. My first 35mm film camera with controls and adjustments, limited though they were. Later graduated to better equipment and darkroom tools. Did studio work late 70's and early 80's. Worked for two different newspapers in northeast Arkansas as a photog and darkroom tech. I have been married forty five years to the same woman and we have raised six children. I still carry a camera with me everywhere I go. My wife says I am obsessed. I guess she could be right.

Caption: I have been in love with photography since my early teens. I am now 63 and the passion has not died. I worked as a photog from about 1973 to 1995. I have done most types of photography from portrait to journalism. Enjoyed my years as a newspaper photog the most. Making a living as a photographer has become a tough thing, so I moved it to serious hobby status and went on to something else to make a living. I have used cameras ranging from 35mm to 4x5 sheetfilm cam. Currently use a Nikon D80. I don't really like digital all that much, but am getting used to it.
