Hello! I apologize for the late reply as I have been very busy at school. Making these GIFs can be done in two ways:
1) Video stills recombined in a GIF program
2) A series of self-taken images combined in a GIF program
1) I record a video file (10-25 minutes) and then open it in a program where I can save a video still every few seconds (depending on how long the video actually is determines the spacing between frames. At the end, I wind up with ~120 total images) Then I choose the speed to animate the frames and save.
2) For a longer event, I will take a series of photos, often 30-60 seconds apart. I will make sure not to move the camera to the best of my ability as to limit any bumps in the motion. Then I combine them again and save as a GIF.
I hope this helps. If you have anymore questions, feel free to ask
