Lovely, lovely! That's the beauty, right there - those beeches! Similar situation down here in the NY Catskills. Stunningly gorgeous and totally unwelcome 8-12". Fortunately, it will all be history by this week's end. I really enjoyed your photo set of the storm.

Beautiful capture with contrasting leaves. Strange year for weather. Noticed that this year also set the record for tornadoes.

Beautiful combination of beeches and snow. (Of course, I can say that as I sit here and type when it's still 71 degrees here tonight in Louisiana. lol)

About suzi46
suzi46 Living in the mountains of Western Maine on a 15 acre 'gentleman's farm', in a hand hewn log home, has been a wonderful experience these past 6 1/2 years. The photo ops are virtually unlimited what with the surrounding working farms, dozens of lakes, ponds, and brooks, and thousands of acres of forest. Not to mention our own pond and brooks as well as extensive flower gardens, fruit bushes, vines, and trees. The views of Mt Washington and the Presidentials of NH only add to the drama! Not a bad place to be retired..and I am so glad I can share all of this with the wonderful folks on this great site..it has been a wonderful journey and learning experience thus far..and it's only getting better!
