Beautiful flowers but really testing to see if my exif is going to show on this shot. It is missing from the horse pic on this same date.

Thanks Kevin it was taken at Cade's Cove. We went there three days in a row looking for black bears. We did see one late one evening but too dark to get a clean shot. Saw people that had seen a mom and two cubs but we didn't find them. I am not good at naming flowers or insects (when I do I usually get corrected :) so I am now smart enough to leave that to the Mara's and Kathy's of this community. It was pretty whatever it was and there was a lot of it.

Some of my best shots have been test shots. lol. I'm pretty certain it is red clover, and I also found out that it is Vermont's state flower (amazing, the things you can learn from photography). And, Kathy and Mara are indispensable!! -kevin :)

dixiedaughter Hello, my name is Leslie. I borrowed my handle from my Tennessee Walking horse, Dixie's Daughter. I am a retired respiratory therapist and home care director. My interests include photography, genealogy, historical societies, reenacting (Revolutionary War, WBTS) horse rescue, and paranormal investigating.
